Explore and build the future of urban mobility at TravelSpirit Hackout Manchester

Transport for Greater Manchester is partnering with the TravelSpirit Foundation to tackle tough urban mobility challenges with a weekend of innovation and collaboration. This event gathers passionate developers, digital artists, IoT experts, and business savvy professionals, to bring about the pro-social and environmental potential of 'Mobility as a Service'.

The difference between a Hackathon and a HackOut? This isn’t a race. Its about building meaningful relationships and powerful collaborations that can get us somewhere, together. Exploring the future space of MaaS at scale, through open collaboration. Catapult your ideas into reality, and take a idea or concept to working prototype in 48 hours, with the support of our global open source community and onsite tech gurus.

Hackout Manchester is part of the UITP - Youth for Public Transport 2017 Global Hackathon (http://www.uitp.org/events/1st-y4pt-global-transport-hackathon-montreal-2017). The chosen representative of the grand prize winners at Hackout Manchester will get to showcase and refine their project at the 62nd UITP Global Public Transportation Summit in Montréal, 15-17 May.

The event has been made possible through partnership with Transport for Greater Manchester, BT, Alstom and Manchester Metropolitan University.
